Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Materials
Supervisor. This position is based at our Indianapolis, IN
distribution center.The Materials Supervisor is responsible for
ECJV and Eaton transmission parts supply and delivery. The role
will lead and be the owner of aftermarket transmission parts
business, from material planning to shipping. The position will
maintain KPI's of OTD, Past Due, Inventory Value, Premium Freight
and will coordinate and drive all functions in material planning,
and work with ELC peers to ensure kits are built, and sub
assemblies are shipped on time. Will partner with SIOP team related
to forecasting and future demand planning.The expected annual
salary range for this role is $93,750.03 - $137,500.04 a

considerations.What you'll do:
- Analyze forecasted demand to ensure sufficient safety stock and
strategic inventory levels for Eaton/ECJV purchasing items. Support
Eaton product line engineering and plant value analysis events to
identify and capture internally generated direct material design
cost reduction ideas.
- Work closely and proactively with buyers team to escalate,
review and resolve commercial issues using Eaton's processes to
deliver material on time without any production impact.
- Work with customer service and materials areas to drive OTD to
the customer, identify potential problems and work creatively to
develop and implement sustainable solutions to improve service
level.
- Develop and maintain countermeasures to address the root causes
of gaps in planning process.
- Build relationships with co-workers in all areas of the plant
focus on continuous process enhancement. Work toward the creation
of a lean support culture in accord with our overall division lean
objectives.
- Responsible for daily/weekly updates for past due and current
orders; facilitate resolution by working with CSR and peers to
execute past due orders to meet OTD expectation.
- Monitor, measure and drive performance improvement of the
planning performance metrics.
- Operate with urgency when it's needed to mitigate impact to our
customers, able to maintain calm in stressful situations.
- Support customer escalations if
necessary.Qualifications:Required Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of seven (7) years Supply Chain and/or a combination of
operations, supply chain, manufacturing experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without corporate
sponsorship both now and in the future.
- No relocation is provided for this position. Candidates
residing within 50 miles of Indianapolis, IN will also be
considered. Active Duty Military are exempt from this geographical
limitation.Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and/or
Mechanical, Industrial Engineering.
- Master's Degree.
- Experience with global sourcing and supply base
management.
- Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience and/or Green Belt
certification.
- Knowledge and skills in MRP, JIT (just in time), Kan Ban,
Vendor Managed Inventory.
- Ten (10) years or higher in Supply Chain and/or a combination
of operations, supply chain, manufacturing experience.Skills:
- Knowledge of and ability to apply structured value analysis
techniques and best practices. These include methods for optimizing
the mix of function analysis (what something does) and the value
for purposes of identifying and removing all unnecessary
costs.
- Experience in using quality tools/methodologies (PPAP, APQP,
MSA, SPC, auditing).
- Knowledge of automotive industry-specific quality registration
(ISO/TS16949).
- Effective people/interpersonal, negotiation, communication and
