Job Description POSITION SUMMARY This role is responsible for collecting samples from production and packaging lines, visual and physical examination, and data reporting for our natural material intermediates and finished products. Successful candidates will have experience with quality inspections using established methods for characterizing products in high volume production. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Conduct operations with a safety-first mindset. Effectively communicate and collaborate with production team members. Perform timely sampling, inspection, and testing of incoming materials according to written procedures and established forms. Examine materials and products to check for flaws and deviations from original specifications. Ensure equipment is calibrated, validated, and maintained properly and ensure safety during operation of equipment. Perform routine checks throughout the day to monitor production, packaging, and intermediate operations. Complete documentation necessary for the support of testing procedures, including inventory forms, data capture forms and equipment logbooks. Properly maintain laboratory space, equipment, and all documentation according to GLP principles. Identify possible areas for improvement in Quality Control processes. Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment as needed. Conduct daily operations for cleaning, organization, and stocking for optimal laboratory operations. QUALIFICATIONS 3-8 years relevant industry experience in quality control. Understanding of basic mathematical concepts. High-level of visual awareness and attention to detail. Experience with dimensional and physical measurements. Ability to perform calibrations and routine maintenance on instruments Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
