As the Electrical Engineer, you will be a key part of the Engineering team. You will be supporting the development of all electrical systems for our artificial, implantable heart. This is an onsite role, based out of our office in Huntington Beach, CA; come beat with us!What You Will Be Doing

• Supporting design, analysis, V&V of devices
• Researching simulations, schematic capture, component placement, and PCB routing
• Successfully transitioning to manufacture from prototypes and verifying designs
• Support development, manufacturing of hardware subsystems (controller, back up, external batteries, etc.)
• Design tasks: component placement, schematic capture, routing on PCB, hardware testing
• Follow compliance with electrical safety, EMC/EMI standards
• Debug electronic systems
• Design Control for regulatory submissions to the FDA
• Analyze and test for design verification and stress testingWhat You Need for this Position
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3 years in medical device development
  • 3+ years professional EE experience
  • Experience in component, integration, system testing of class II/III medical devices
  • Digital/analog electronic device development
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic physics/analysis, EMC requirements, test methods
  • FDA requirements: (IEC 60601, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, ISO 13485)
  • Experience working with external suppliers/contract manufacturers for PCB boardsWhat's In It for You
