Construction Project ManagerReports to: VP, ConstructionLocation: BJ's Restaurants, Inc. Restaurant Support Center, Huntington Beach, CAStatus: Full Time / ExemptBJ's Construction Project Manager will coordinate construction of freestanding and in-line restaurants throughout the United States. Candidate will report to the Vice President of Construction. The scope of the BJ's construction projects will be site development, restaurant construction, and coordination with various internal departments, pre-construction plan review, Project Scheduling, Budgeting, Estimating and Change Order Review.The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring and management of all aspects of project on behalf of the BJ's Restaurants, Inc.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Coordinating the activities of the design, architecture, purchasing, kitchen equipment vendor, and construction teams
• Monitor and maintain comprehensive project budgets and schedules
• Coordination of all work with owner's vendors, and contractors
• Communication with the Landlord representatives on matters relating to the site development
• Partner with Authorities Having Jurisdiction on creation and delivery of all utilities to the project
• Monitor the construction in terms of adherence to the design intent and quality control
• Conduct project meetings and provide detailed status reports to the property
• Review Change Order requests from General Contractors and vendors for cost, propriety and scope or work
• Monitor and manage construction project schedules
• Conduct pre-construction plan review with architects, designers and contractors
• Facilitate turnover of completed restaurants to BJ's Training Department
• Provide weekly updates on construction progress
• Assists with additional projects/ tasks as assigned by Manager or SupervisorKey Skills and Requirements:

  • High level of accuracy and speed of typing
  • Ability to multitask; consistently meeting daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
