Job Summary: Based on provided designs and components, construct, erect, install, and repair custom storage systems and accessories using laminate wood, edge-banding, hardware and other materials, requiring your skills with hand tools and power tools. Training is provided. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings. Utilize company provided CAD drawings/blueprints to properly and efficiently install systems. Assist in loading truck at the shop. Assists in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes. Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order. Tools are provided. Prepare and organize tool bag. Carry material and stage for installer at the customers home. Stage necessary hardware for the installer. Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations. Install materials such as poles and adjustable shelving safely and maintain safety standards at all times. Clean system (wipe & vacuum) job site. System touch up of parts and ability to identify defects. Capable of hanging system rail for wall hung systems, prep partitions with brackets. Install lock shelves. Install belt, tie and garment racks. Install connector shelves. Install TAG Engage accessories. Install cleats with hooks and adjust drawers, sliding baskets and Install Vertical Dividers. Review paperwork with customer and collect payment as needed. Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and maintaining company provided vehicles in a safe manner. Report any vehicle problems to the company immediately. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Installer and/or Supervisor. Qualifications: Must maintain valid drivers license and clean driving record High School diploma Entry level role Experience with common hand and power tools Trade or vocational school experience desirable Cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable Understand all wall types and proper methods of securing. Understand how to work with and around different obstacles in the process of installing. Must have ability to read, understand and check plans. Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills Must adhere to attendance standards and report to work on time each morning. Able to provide high level of customer service Able to work individually and in teams Able to meet the physical demands of the position
