Job Description:
PhlexCare is seeking a per diem / prn Occupational Therapist for
a per diem / prn job in Huntington Beach, California.Job
Description & Requirements
Hourly Rate: $55 - $60
Type of Work: PRN or Per Diem / PRN
Set up : SNF or Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation
Requirements:
--- A master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited
program. State licensure or eligibility for licensure is
required.
--- Minimum 1 year working in SNF setting and experince in Net
Health
--- Certification by the National Board for Certification in
Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred.
--- Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) designation is highly
desirable.
--- Prior experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred,
particularly in evaluating and treating individuals with a wide
range of physical, cognitive, and psychosocial conditions across
different settings.
--- Previous experience working as a Occupational Therapist
preferred
--- New grads are welcome to apply. Current CPR certification.
Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist provides quality care to all residents.
The OT evaluates patients, plans, and implements patient treatment,
plans, and coordinates patient discharge, and prepares detailed
progress reports and appropriate patient documentation. Treatments
will include training in daily living activities, functional
skills, motor development, compensation techniques, use of adaptive
equipment and splinting. The Occupational Therapist will also test
and evaluate patients' physical and mental abilities analyzing
rehabilitation goals and consult with the rehab team in order to
coordinate the most effective occupational therapy program.
