Profee Coding Specialist

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Profee coder with experience in trauma surgery.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide various components of coding services to support clients
Calculate ProFee E/M levels and recognize critical care cases
Apply diagnosis and procedure codes utilizing ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS

Required Qualifications:

Certification through either the AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P)
Minimum of 2 years of on the job experience
Working knowledge and experience with systems such as EMR, Billing, etc
Current coding materials such as CPT and ICD-10-CM coding references
Proficiency in Microsoft programs like Excel and Outlook
