• Set-up and operate 4 or 5 axis lathes to produce parts to precise dimensions and within close tolerances
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously
• Review electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job.
• Calculate where to cut or bore.
• Select tools and materials for the job.
• Monitor and control feed rate and speed.
• Ensure workpiece is properly lubricated and/or cooled.
• Monitor the accuracy of cuts.
• Check accuracy of work against blueprints and specifications.
• Use manual and computer-controlled machinery.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.Requirements:Qualifications
  • Ability to operate multiple machines simultaneously
  • Ability to set up and operate CNC lathes (Experience preferred)
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Must be able to comprehend blueprints, work orders, and other technical documents.
  • Willing to work non-standard and/or additional hours on short notice to support near term customer milestones and schedules (Overtime, Off-shifts)
  • Must pass a hands on exam that will test your general knowledge.Benefits

      • Lift and carry up to 25lbs.
