We offer point of care testing, vaccinations and urgent care services at a price that patients can afford. - Our goal is to provide Healthcare and testing for everyone.The Payment Poster is responsible for managing -all ERA, EFT, Virtual CC, and paper insurance, and patient paper check payments. -Excellent Opportunity to advance into management -ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB1.Daily ERA and Paper check payment posting to HealthFusfion EMR
2. Manage Payments according to fee schedule and allocating appropriately -
3. Payer Management updates, denial trends and cross-training to billing teammates
4. Maintaining Payment reporting directly from HealthFusion EMR weekly -
5. Completing secondary crossover
6. Updating the correct payor and resubmission of claim(s)
7. Identifying paper payments and requesting EFT application submissions -
8. Utilizes Payor portals to retrieve EOB's and posts into HeslthFusion EMRPERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:Reports directly to the Director of RCM. Maintains company compliance, protocols, and practices HIPPA guideline requirements. Exceptional organizational skills, and outstanding time management. communicates effectively to supervisor and teammates, displays integrity and exceptional work ethic.In Office Position/Non In Patient EnvironmentEDUCATION: -AA preferred -EXPERIENCE: Payment Posting/Cash Management-3-5 years' experience preferred -SKILLS & ABILITIES: Microsoft Office/Google Sheets: 3-5year experience preferred.EMR Software a must / HealthFusion EMR experience desired
