JOB SUMMARY:
Leads all shift employees to ensure compliance to all Airtech International, Inc.'s policies while directing manufacturing production.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Leads all manufacturing personnel and machine operations on the shift.
  
• Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
  
• Reports any process and equipment problems that restrict workflow. Calls the Conversion Manager or Plant Engineers for assistance with problems that require assistance.
  
• Reviews and reports training progress reports.
  
• Organizes work for smooth operations.
  
• Ensures that established policies, rules and regulations, and procedures are followed.
  
• Verifies correct identification, weights, and warehousing of products.
  
• Distributes plant status reports and instructions to the next shift.
  
• Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the area and meeting production quality and quantity standards on the shift.
  
• Responsible for reviewing and filling out safety incident reports with employees in the event of a work accident.
  
• Communicates production status with the planning office.
  
• Troubleshoots problems.
  
• Must have passed yearly forklift certification testing.
  
• Notifies supervisor or manager of any potential safety hazards.
  
• Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor.
  
  QualificationsEDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
  
  
• High school diploma and equivalent work experience.
  
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in manufacturing.
  
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Trainer or Expeditor.
