Overview
Element has an opportunity for a Shift Chemist who will be primarily responsible for performing testing material alloys using Inductively Couple Plasma, Atomic Absortion, Optical Emission Spectroscopy, Combustion, Fusion , XRF machines.
Salary: $30-$34/hr plus shift diff
$1 Shift diff for 2nd shift
Responsibilities

• 
  
• Gathers and records test data in accordance with quality assurance requirements
  
• Maintains various test equipment to ensure proper working condition and with less supervision
  
• Have initiative to complete tasks properly and timely manner
  
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of testing concepts for laboratory safety and procedure implementation
  
  Skills / Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • Chemistry Graduate
    
  • Power plant experience
    
  • Awareness of health and safety procedures and safe systems of work required to perform duties
    
  • Minimum 3 year experience as a Shift Chemist
    
  • Strong and determined quality focus with indefatigable determination to get the job done under the most challenging conditions
    
  • Self-motivated team player with excellent organisational skills
    
  • Exceptional communication skills and good reporting skills
