  • 1-2 years of machine shop experience working with CNC lathes, Okuma preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Aerospace or medical device experience preferred
  • Some trade school education preferred
  • Experience with Swiss lathes (Star CNC) preferredJob Summary:
    • Maintain and operate Okuma Lathe
    • Produce tight tolerance, high precision aerospace parts
    • Document product results for all components produced dailyJob Responsibilities:
      • Operate and maintain machines, calibration, cleaning etc.
      • Control and adjust machine settings
      • Read Blueprints and specifications
      • Inspect parts with precision measuring tools
      • Maintain production logs (Traveler, Planning etc.)
      • Keep waste low, minimize scrap, account for all parts on jobs
