Title: - - - - - - - - - - - - AP SpecialistReports to: - - Accounts Payable SupervisorLocation: - - - BJ's Restaurants, Inc. Restaurant Support Center in Huntington Beach, CAStatus: - - - - - - - - - Full Time / Non-ExemptResponsibilities:

• Responsible for regional accounts payable support of restaurants. - Review and audit of invoices, restaurant petty cash transactions, reconciliation of vendor statements, etc.
• Support the restaurants with any A/P related needs
• Answer all vendor inquiries and resolution of vendor disputes
• Input payable invoices into internal system
• Invoice processing to prepare for weekly check run. Mailing out of checks
• Print accounts payable reports and maintain accounts payable files
• Identify, investigate and correct any invoice and coding discrepancies
• Assist in monthly closings
• Prepare analysis of accounts, as required
• Responsible for maintenance of A/P files
• Special projects, as requested by supervisorSkills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Accounts Payable or related experience
  • Experience with multi-unit organization preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills and high capability of effective planning and priority setting
  • Strong problem solving skills, verbal skills and written communication skills
  • Ability to consistently meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and relational databases and report writing concepts
  • Ability to work well independently yet also able to be an integral member of a larger team
