Camaraderie Clubs, a brand-new management company started by the Co-Founder and former CEO of Travis Mathew, is looking to redefine the landscape of Country Club Membership for the next generation of Club Member. We own two premier club properties: Spanish Hills Club and The Huntington Club.

It's an exciting time to join our clubs and we are currently seeking an Events Coordinator to join our team at The Huntington Club!
Your Day to Day:
The Events Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing private events and member events operations. Assure all event operations and services exceed Member and Guest expectations, while ensuring standards of services are met. Works closely with the Event Sales Manager to assist clients in planning special functions that meet their ideal and specific needs. Interact closely with department managers and relatable staff to ensure that financial goals (revenues and costs) are attained for each event.

  • Responsible for overseeing the service of food and beverage to our Members and Guests adhering to the steps of service during events
  • Develop new or preexisting events for membership to exceed expectations
  • Organize and prepare all events in a timely fashion and present to all parties involved
  • Assist clients in their planning of their special events, including menus, vendors and other related aspects
  • Work with house vendors to schedule, reserve, and/or order promised rentals and services prior to event.
  • Oversee banquet staff when applicable throughout the event execution process.
  • Ensuring all aspects of events are in place; including but not limited to; decorations, sponsors, rentals, vendors, and linens.
  • Create detailed BEOs for all member and private events, and ensure they are being executed properly on event day from start to finish
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of FOH outlets prior to events by working with club maintenance
  • Attend, lead, or participate in all staff meetings, event line-ups, BEO meetings and special training sessions when requested
  • Continually improve satisfaction of our events through pricing, programming, and compliance of operations and training
  • Maintains current and accurate client files for all events
  • Assists the Food & Beverage Director and Department Managers with special projects as assigned
  • Execute other projects related to member and private events, as they arise
  • Assist accounting department with minor banquet related accounting situations
  • Ensure all event deposits and payments have been paid on due dates
    What you'll need:
    • 3 years banquet catering or conference service preferred
    • 1 year of BEO building experience required, preferably in Reserve
    • Golf course or club experience a plus
    • Must be 21 years or older
