"Boardriders is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer including: Minorities/Women/Individuals with Disabilities/Protected Veterans" SUMMARY: This buying role is responsible for assorting, buying and managing Billabong Women's and Girl's Apparel, Swim and Accessories for all retail locations in the US and Canada RESPONSIBILITIES: The Billabong Womens Buyer will be responsible for managing specific categories under the supervision and leadership of the Director of Buying. Responsibilities will include: Billabong Womens Apparel/Swim, Accessories, Footwear, Girls - Full Price and Outlet StoresWork collaboratively with the brand to highlight marketed stories and execute the brand vision in storeWork with Visual Merchandising to set directives in storeCollaborate with Brand specific marketing teams to develop POP and Window SignageStrategize and execute new ideas to move the business forwardExecute assortment plans to meet seasonal sales and margin targetsDevelop SMU product with M&D teams for Outlet channelBuild and Maintain Financial Plans which include Sales, OTB and Inventory ManagementEvaluate selling and reporting weekly/monthly to leadershipOrder creation and entrySKU MaintenanceManage transfer and markdown files for designated categories and channelsWork cross functionally with planning, allocation, visual merchandising, marketing, and store teamsAdditional tasks as needed
