Payments Economics Senior Software Engineer

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Payments Economics Senior Software Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead cost efficiency initiatives in the payments platform by leveraging knowledge of money movement between merchant platforms and payment processing partners
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build business use cases and influence engineering decisions
Guide the team in tackling complex technical and regulatory challenges in the payments ecosystem

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of industry experience
Extensive experience with Java in a distributed microservice environment
Understanding of architectural patterns of large-scale web applications
Experience with Agile development
BS in Computer Science or equivalent work-related experience
