Areas of HR include: full-cycle recruiting, administrative responsibilities, payroll, benefits, safety and new hire orientation. The Recruiter/HR Generalist has an overview of many aspects of human resources and will help ensure the companys compliance with state and federal laws. The Recruiter/HR Generalist must maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and sensitive organizational matters at all times. Completes other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for full cycle recruitment for all positions Reviews all resumes and conducts passive searches for mid to senior level positions Conducts phone screens and interviews for all positions Conducts all new hire orientations and new hire trainings Process all new hires in ADP Workforce Now and ensure information is accurate Runs background checks and analyzes any results; follows up with managers as necessary Performs administrative duties such as record retention and ensuring notices for new hires, separations and leave of absence are current. Provides prompt and correct internal and external customer responses Ensures/develop HR forms and materials are updated Process bi-weekly payroll for organization Organizes, develops and prepares materials for various meetings and trainings Works with HR Team on various human resource departmental projects Assists in developing best HR practices for the organization Follows all company health and safety procedures Perform other related duties as required or assignedEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE EDUCATIONBachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent work experience EXPERIENCE3 - 5 years related experience requiredRecruiting experience required Media agency recruiting preferred Compensation Range: $65k-$70k/year. This is the pay range Ocean Media reasonably expects it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on level of experience, relevant skills, professional certifications, market pay, and demand for the role.
