Nuclear Medicine Tech Location: Long Beach, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,046 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: CA License required Certifications: - BLS - ARRT - NMTCB Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with adult patient care - Travel experience Description: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will work day shifts from 08:00 to 16:30. Weekend and daily on-call hours are required after 5 PM. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience. A CA license is required to be considered for this position. The scope of work includes performing various nuclear medicine procedures. Key skills include Siemens imaging, gastric emptying tests, and HIDA scans. Experience in MUGA scans, PET scans, and liver scans is also desirable. The candidate must be able to draw venous blood and start and maintain IVs. All team members may be required to float within the facility based on census needs. Candidates should be familiar with isolation precautions and the handling of radioactive materials. Compliance with required vaccinations is necessary. A reference within the past 2 years is required. Previous permanent staff are not eligible for this position. Experience with electronic health record systems and charting is a plus. Additional training modules will be required as part of the onboarding process. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of working independently while maintaining high-quality patient care.
