seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity - Information System
Security Manager (ISSM) to join their team in Huntington Beach, CA.
- -The selected candidate with be responsible for driving
accountability for Cybersecurity controls within Government
Programs under Boeing Defense Systems. -The role will include
performing both Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) and
Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) job duties.Position
Responsibilities:
- Works closely with Program Engineering and Information
Technology teams on cutting edge technology by evaluating and
applying relevant concepts to deliver usable products for the U.S.
Government
- Leads the development and deployment of program -information
security for assigned systems to meet the program and enterprise
requirements, policies, standards, guidelines and procedures
- Manages Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, product
development and product maintenance for assigned systems
- Manages and performs security compliance continuous
monitoring
- Leads and participates in security assessments and audits
- Prepares, reviews, and presents technical reports and
briefings
- Identifies root causes, prioritizes threats and recommends/
implements corrective action
- Provides advisory to Program Managers through mentoring and
technical leadership to the information security program team
- Explores the enterprise and industry for the evolving state of
industry knowledge and methods regarding information security best
practices
- Develops enterprise-wide information security policies,
standards, guidelines and procedures that may reach across multiple
stakeholder organizationsThis position is expected to be 100%
onsite. - The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at
one of the listed location options.This position requires an active
U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
(A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24
months is considered active.)Basic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience):
- Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly
known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the
federal government within the last 6 years or have been enrolled in
a Continuous Evaluation program such that periodic updates are no
longer required
- Currently hold certification in good standing to satisfy IAM
Level III (CISSP, GSLC or CISM)
- 3+ years of experience as an information system security
officer (ISSO) or information system security manager (ISSM)
supporting classified programs
- 1+ years of experie working within Special Access
ProgramsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military
experience
- 5+ years of experience utilizing security relevant tools,
systems, and applications in support of Risk Management Framework
(RMF) to include: NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP, Audit Reduction,
and HBSS
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity policies and
implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF): e.g. DAAPM,
CNSSI 1253, ICD-503, JSIG, or NIST SP 800 series
- 5+ years of experience in assessing and documenting test or
analysis data to show cybersecurity compliance
- Experience working both independently and in team
environments
- Experience managing multiple projects or cross organizational
programsTypical Education/Experience:Typically 9 or more years'
related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced
degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not
required.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on
