technology.JOB OVERVIEWThe Director, Finance will report directly
to the CFO and provide short- and long-term financial leadership.
This individual will manage the forecasting, annual budgeting,
long-range planning, and strategic business development processes.
This individual will partner with business leaders throughout the
organization to provide analytical insight, drive financial
discipline and deliver business results to meet the company's
financial objectives.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage monthly financial statement review process by preparing,
reviewing, and analyzing actual results versus annual plan, prior
forecast, and prior year
- Manage annual capital, operating, and overhead budgets for all
global business segments
- Create a 3-5-year long-range strategic business planning
process, partnering closely with channel and product leaders to
formulate strategies and align financial metrics to those
strategies
- Develop monthly financial reporting package including channel,
critical account, and product performance while identifying and
analyzing key performance drivers to maximize profitability
- Present monthly financial reporting package to the senior
leadership team and cross-functional leaders, educating them on
ways to maximize profits
- Develop and implement best-in-class financial planning
processes by leveraging systems to streamline data consolidation
and report generation while ensuring the accuracy of financial
data/reports
- Identity, quantify, and articulate risks and opportunities in
achieving annual plan and monthly forecasts
- Conduct analyses and build financial models to inform
strategies, investment recommendations, and new business
opportunities
- Create, maintain, and obtain executive buy-in for the annual
budgeting and forecasting calendar, including tracking performance
against deadlines
- Provide guidance and serve as a subject matter expert to assist
managers and budget owners
- Ensure that internal departments adhere to and maintain
organizational standards and reasonable assumptions during business
planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Develop people to reach their full potential through individual
coaching, training, and career development, preparing them to
assume increased responsibility
- Provide direct supervision to high-performing financial
planning and reporting teams
- Provide ad hoc support as requested
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query,
and able to build/develop complex models
- Strong analytical skills and business sense
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and mentor a team
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with
cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Ability to develop and maintain complex financial models and
generate critical insights
- Ability to make decisions independently or escalate when
applicable
- Meticulous with a focus on accuracy
- Deadline-driven with a keen sense of urgencyEDUCATION AND
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field
- Masters in business administration preferred.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a financial planning
capacity
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership capacity
- Sarbanes-Oxley experience preferredIf your experience is close
