Job Description:
BJ's Restaurants & Brewhouse is seeking a results oriented
operational strategist to take on the role of Vice President of Off
Premise. The Vice President of Off Premise is a strategic
operational leader who will build comprehensive, robust off premise
sales building strategies that grow and expand our business. They
will create direct and lead programs that will develop successful
off premise sales teams that drive special event, off premise
catering and large party promotions, marketing, operations, and
event execution. Responsibilities:--- Strategic business leader who
will shape and develop BJ's off premise strategy. Responsible for
development, planning and execution of companywide initiatives to
drive special event and off premise sales in order to reach and
exceed annual goals.--- Develop sales and marketing programs that
maximize food and beverage/event related revenues for special event
and off premise engagements. --- Develop and drive cross functional
initiatives that build business development strategies, programs,
and promotions to build a robust and profitable off premise line of
business.--- Direct collaborative projects partnering with
marketing, operations and culinary to create brand strategies and
promotions to develop a robust, Guest centric off premise business.
--- Drive partnership with operations to develop, drive and manage
off premise initiatives and business objectives. --- Develop
analytics and metrics to track and manage operational and financial
metrics that drive growth characterized by increased revenues and
expanded market share of off premise business. --- Develop
competitive analysis and insights that identify new areas of
opportunity and additional product offerings that drive business
revenue.--- Assess and determine resources necessary to create and
build a robust special event and off premise sales department,
including but not limited to review of: CRM, business intelligence
analytics and reporting tools and equipment necessary to execute
off premise objectives. --- Leadership and development of programs
that fosters the grow of Special Events Managers to achieve sales
goals and revenues while focusing on building long-term, repeat
guest relationships. --- Curate and build initiatives that build
knowledge base and market intelligence on strategies in the sales /
special events industry to build market share.--- Develop and
direct sales strategies that engage with local and national
organizations to network, build brand identity and develop
strategic relationships that build sales.--- Build accurate
forecasting and business plans to properly execute on special
events sales initiatives utilizing reports and metrics that
identify and measure productivity of sales, revenue goals and
measurement of ROI.--- Travel as necessary to execute and achieve
department objectives.Qualifications: --- 5+ years of experience in
a full-service, high-volume restaurant or food and beverage
multi-unit environment building and directing profitable special
events, off premise and/or catering sales business.--- Experience
in directing and developing programs that drive sales and
successful catering and special events teams.--- Expert
understanding of off premise, catering, and special events revenue
generation.--- Expertise in developing and building solid off
premise sales teams in business development strategies, networking,
and sales building.--- Proven track record of sales performance
along with marketing/prospecting programs that drive event
revenue.--- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation
skills--- Creative menu development skills--- High energy and
outgoing personality--- Strong communication and organizational
skills.--- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, and
Excel.--- Ability to travel as necessary to execute on department
