JOB PURPOSEThe roles and responsibilities of the Manager, Analytics and Insights are twofold: 1) manage the analytics deliverables to the account team and clients, and 2) contribute to the development of analytical tools that will further the capabilities of the department and agency. Pertaining to the first responsibility, he/she will work integrally with media and account teams to support data analysis and performance tracking for the advancement of client business. A wide range of analytical methodologies and approaches will be leveraged to uncover insights and meet client objectives. He/She will also provide thought leadership that makes obtained insights actionable through clear recommendations based on analytical findings. Furthermore, he/she will contribute data driven strategic insights to both the account team and the analytics department. The Manager, Analytics and Insights will participate in internal account and media team meetings to explain recommended views of data analytics and will attend client meetings as a representative of the analytics department. She/he is responsible for coordination between account management, the media department, and research to ensure analytical projects are effectively delivered on time. Pertaining to the aforementioned second responsibility, he/she is responsible for identifying opportunities to improve the current analytics approach and contributing to the design and objectives of tool and project development. Types of tools may include but are not limited to dashboards, results presentation and delivery methods, database development, data acquisition, and merging and/or enhancements of existing capabilities. Analytical methods for development and incorporation may include but are not limited to multi-channel attribution, ROI /LTV analysis, media mix, saturation, and decay modeling.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-- Oversees the tracking/reporting of client data on a daily, weekly, monthly basis to assess campaign performance and recommend related strategies -- Understands client's needs for reporting, analysis, and measurement of marketing impact on customer acquisition and meets client's need by applying expertise to develop holistic measurement techniques and tools-- Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to improve analytics contribution to client success thereby strengthening agency/client relationships-- Uses findings from analysis to provide clients with clear and actionable recommendations-- Independently hypothesizes, investigates, and uncovers insights that improve clients' performance-- Provides thought leadership on new approaches to analytical problem-solving and data presentation-- Applies expertise to improve effectiveness and guide optimizations of client media campaigns-- Analyzes clients' historical sales and marketing data for the creation of predictive models that forecast performance-- Performs time series analyses and forecasts based on seasonality, trend, and cyclicality-- Provides statistical guidance such as determining statistical viability of client media tests-- Identify deficiencies and inefficiencies in existing processes, tools, and approaches and makes recommendations for improvement-- Follows all company health and safety procedures-- Performs other related duties as required or assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE EDUCATIONBachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) required. Master's degree (M.A., M.S., MBA, etc.) preferred. EXPERIENCE5-7 years related experience required.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: Advanced knowledge of concepts and practices with the ability to use in diverse business situations The Manager, Analytics and Insights will demonstrate: -- Extensive knowledge of statistical modeling to forecast client performance as predicted by various variable inputs (media spend across mediums, marketing efforts, seasonality, competitor actions, etc.) with the intention of maximizing client return on investment across all channels-- Exceptional understanding and ability to apply quantitative market research techniques and analytics to solve complex business and marketing challenges -- Exceptional knowledge and experience in advanced statistical computation using SPSS-- Extensive knowledge of statistical modeling to forecast client performance as predicted by various variable inputs (media spend across mediums, marketing efforts, seasonality, competitor actions, etc.) with the intention of maximizing client return on investment across all channels-- Ability to understand matters pertaining to data and information systems-- Strong abilities to analyze and interpret raw data and make sound recommendations to senior executive teams and clients
