Role:
Account Manager

Location:
Remote
Travel 25-30% of time for, but not limited to, customer meetings, trainings, events

Compensation:
Based on education and experience, annual salary plus bonus and benefits.

Responsibilities Description:
This position requires an independent person with an client-facing personality and a healthcare background in areas such as compliance, grievance or appeals, enrollment, supplemental benefits, or sales of competitive SaaS software in healthcare. The ideal candidate must be able to develop, build and maintain strong customer relationships, including managing expectations by orchestrating aspects of implementation from initiation, launching, ongoing activities and yearly reconciliation. As Account Manager you will also responsible for:
Ensuring there are no surprises from the clients
Building external facing presentations for kick off meetings, annual review meetings and any other customer/vendor meetings
Maintaining all client data in Salesforce
Escalating or resolving issues that come through the ticket portal
Expanding the relationship by introducing (upselling) other Beacon modules or products into the plan
Partnering with the clients to build or solve their goals
Tracking and management of all deliverables for meetings, implementation, events, and everyday needs, e.g., projects, invoices
Working with the marketing team to ensure all branding and messaging meets the clients needs and requirements
Evaluating activity year over year and assist with budgeting

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree
Preference of 5+ years experience in healthcare, delivery of wellness, health promotion, health education, account management, and/or consulting or similar programs
At least one year experience in successful project management
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Self-starter: ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
Ability to manage multiple customers and projects/task simultaneously
Sense of urgency necessary to meet goals, objectives and deadlines
Ability to travel to customer organizations, conferences or professional development opportunities as needed
Ability to work off normal business hours to meet customer needs
History of successfully meeting and exceeding new business goals

Problem-solving and critical thinking skills as required to overcome obstacles
Excellent written & oral communication skills
