Job Description Compensation and Benefits: Expected Base Salary: $100,000.00 to $150,000.00, depending on education, experience, and licensure. Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate. Competitive end-of-year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance. Hybrid work schedule (subject to change). 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching with 9% Employee Contribution. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform and may oversee structural analysis, design, and detailing on a variety of projects. Collaborate with the architect, owner, and contractor to provide a well-coordinated and high-quality set of structural drawings. May lead a team of engineers, designers, and drafters to execute structural designs. Meet with the project team to ensure effective communication flow during design. Interest and ability to advance to a senior engineer or project manager position. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Experience with computer analysis software systems. Excellent leadership, supervisory, and writing and verbal communication skills. Comfortable consulting to architectural practices. Ability to build and maintain a strong team of professionals and support staff within a cooperative multidiscipline office performing at a high level of satisfaction to clients. Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities. Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and time management skills. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE B.S. degree in Civil or Structural engineering required. Master’s degree in structural engineering preferred. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with the structural design of buildings or similar structures. Registration as a P.E. required. Licensed California Structural Engineer (SE) preferred. Expected Base Salary: $100,000.00 to $150,000.00, depending on education, experience, and licensure. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
