Job Description:
A company is looking for a Principal API Engineer to lead
technical efforts in API development and architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the API as a product and collaborate with engineers on a
pragmatic vision
Ensure API security and maintain up-to-date documentation while
mentoring a growing team
Provide technical leadership for the offshore Go engineering team
and contribute to overall platform architecture
Required Qualifications
At least 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree;
or 8 years with a Master's degree; or a PhD with 6 years'
experience
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
preferred
Experience in API design and SaaS application development best
practices
Core Go code contributor with experience in code reviews
Ability to distill business objectives into technical solutions
through effective system design and architecture
