Local Marketing ProgramsReports to: Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy & AnalyticsLocation: BJ's Restaurants, Inc. Restaurant Support Center in Huntington Beach, CAFT/PT Status: Full Time Exempt Status: ExemptThe primary function of the Supervisor, Local Marketing Programs is to work with restaurants to build sales at a local level. This includes evaluating program requests on a regional and individual restaurant basis to determine participation based on expected ROI and performance. Additionally, this role will assist in providing the necessary resources for participation in a variety of local efforts including community events, localized sponsorships, and print advertisements.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate local marketing opportunities including existing/new programs, advertisements and various sponsorship opportunities including ROI, optimization and overall program performance
  • Implement local restaurant marketing tools to ensure operators are provided necessary materials for outreach including tool kits, ad planner, communication updates, etc.
  • Coordinate media plans and earned media opportunities including execution to drive sales and traffic in key local markets
  • Coordinate local activation including food drops from our restaurants and earned media opportunities
  • Manage corporate partnerships for key sponsorship programs including contract negotiations, creative asset development and trafficking, restaurant communication, and final reporting on performance and ROI to inform future year decisions
  • Organize donation requests and distribute courtesy cards as appropriate with detailed spreadsheet for accuracy
  • Coordinate with creative Agency to create marketing materials for local magazines, local websites and various school sponsorships as requested by restaurants
  • Coordinate and maintain quarterly LRM scorecards for all restaurants to help identify areas of opportunity and mitigate any challenges for our core LRM programs
  • Assist in building relationships in the local communities with school, hotels, movie theaters, tutoring centers and shopping malls outreach to help create brand awareness and sales building opportunities
  • Act as a resource for restaurants who have specific questions regarding marketing programs or material needs
  • Compile marketing status document, marketing and messaging calendars, and IT/Marketing status documentNecessary Skills and Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree required
    • Must have a minimum of 4+ years of marketing experience
    • Must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
    • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be able to demonstrate interest and knowledge of restaurant industry, craft beer and food
    • Must be able to proactively prioritize business needs and effectively manage resources
    • Must have strong analytical skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
