The Company s products are sold in more than 115 countries in a wide range of distribution.PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAKSUMMARY:PAGE-BREAK PAGE- BREAKReporting to our Global Digital and Marketing Operations Director, DC is looking for a highly versatile Copywriter to join our digital marketing team. This role will partner with our GTM Manager to craft seasonal product marketing briefs and develop key stories as they journey from concept to consumer. The Copywriter s efforts will support positioning strategies each season and ma on to everything from sell-in tools to press releases to campaign headlines to email to social media packages to voice-over scripts for commercials. He/she will partner closely with leaders of our endemic marketing categories and with our Creative Director to ensure that we effectively balance desired brand-voice with commercial effectiveness. This role will lead the day-to-day efforts to generate campaign headlines, social content, and even long-form journalism when needed. Because DC is rooted in authentic skateboarding culture, this role will require a natural ability to connect to our endemic audiences while also extending our voice for mainstream relevance and commercial effectiveness. Additionally, this role will need to partner with our category marketing leads to develop seasonal stories that can cross borders, cultures, and translations. The Content and Copywriter will be a key liaison with both external copy contributors (as needed) and with our external PR Agency. Short and long-lead pitches, as well as seasonal Press Releases, from our Agency will require editing and collaboration for voice and strategy. The Content and Copywriter will also work directly with our Global Digital Marketing Manager to craft headlines and copy for our social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK PAGE- BREAKRESPONSIBILITIES:PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAKDevelop seasonal product marketing copy, inclusive of product-naming, feature-benefits, and GTM deliverablesPAGE- BREAKCreate, maintain, and socialize brand guidelines for copywriting with a consistent, clear and directionally aligned brand voice across all content platforms/outletsPAGE-BREAKDrive and supervise writing of global brand content for all channels and activities PAGE-BREAKAnalyze past content activities and evolve design of new, impactful messages accordinglyPAGE-BREAKDevelop, customize and edit all global marketing related copy including campaign, product marketing, blog and social copy PAGE-BREAKMange the rolling editorial and content calendar in collaboration with all category leads that support global Go-To Marketing calendarPAGE-BREAKCollaborate on the development of seasonal product-marketing stories and brand campaignsPAGE-BREAKLead communication and distribution of all content plans cross functionally with category leads and creative teamPAGE-BREAKAlign content with global brand strategy and supports seasonal initiativesPAGE-BREAKWork with key functions to provide deliverables against assets needed for all content plansPAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAKREQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:PAGE-BREAK PAGE- BREAKDynamic and engaging storyteller with experience crafting copy and content that will drive consumer engagement and dialoguePAGE-BREAKAbility to convey ideas and messaging in few words as PAGE-BREAKProfessional examples of creating and managing original content PAGE-BREAKProven success in marketing to a similar consumer/demographic PAGE-BREAKSuperb written and verbal communication skills (writing samples required)PAGE-BREAKNatural storyteller with a journalist approach to creating meaningful and engaging storiesPAGE- BREAKExperience and strong understanding of modern social media marketingPAGE- BREAKExperience with a similar global brand PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAKExperience with or understanding of action sports and/or Street Style media PAGE-BREAK PAGE-BREAK
