Job Description:
A company is looking for a Controller in the US, specializing in
Finance, to work remotely on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the development and implementation of strategies to improve
accounting operational efficiencies, effectiveness, and
scalability
Lead various financial functions, including billing, financial
statements, payroll, tax, compliance, and accounts
payable/receivable
Build and maintain a documented system of accounting policies and
procedures
Qualifications:
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
7-9 years of experience in accounting management, preferably in a
small start-up environment
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (US
and International)
Experience in healthcare startup is a plus
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical, and mission-focused
environment
