We offer point-of-care testing, vaccinations, and urgent care services at a price that patients can afford. - Our goal is to provide Healthcare and testing for everyone.We are looking for a Staff Accountant to manage general accounting and financial processes of our company.You'll be responsible for all daily accounting tasks, including preparing tax documents and updating expense files. You will perform financial transactions and post them in the general ledger, with strong attention to detail. You will also carry out relevant administrative duties (e.g. responding to clients via email and handling invoices).Ultimately, you will ensure the company's finances run smoothly.Responsibilities

Maintain and update accounting records and filesAnalyze budgets and create expense reportsExamine tax policies and handle tax payments and returnsMeet with clients to discuss confidential accounting issuesPost transactions and categorize records in the - general ledger (e.g. by assets, liabilities and expenses)Reconcile bank statementsAnalyze transactions with internal and external stakeholdersConduct month-end and year-end closuresPrepare documents for auditsAdvise clients on financial issues via email or phoneApply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulationsReport to the VP of Finance and work to improve financial processesRequirements and skills
Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel; very good with spreadsheetsKnowledge of an accounting information system is a plusGood math skillsAttention to detailStrong organizational and communication skillsConfidentiality and integrityDegree in Accounting; MSc is a plusEducation and Experience: -
Bachelor in Accounting/FinancePractices critical review of financial documents for completeness and accuracy.Experience and insights into creating accounting procedures and best practices.Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.Ability to prioritize, solve problems and work in a fast-paced, high volume, environment, with minimal supervision.Physical Requirements: -
