Marshall Reddick is looking for a driven, reliable, and professional intern in our Accounting Department. We are in need of an extremely organized individual who has a very high attention to detail for our Accounting division. We are looking for someone who is a team player and able to communicate effectively with many different departments and individuals. As the Accounting Intern, your role is critical to ensuring accuracy and working under tight deadlines in a fast-changing environment. If you are a task-oriented individual who appreciates structure and detailed work, this role is for you.




This role has the potential to turn into a full-time Accountant.

Responsibilities:
--- Handle all cash receipts for each department's company revenue
--- Utilize QuickBooks/Sage to enter invoices, payments, vendor invoicing
--- Sorting and distributing mail
--- Organization of employee expense reports
--- Auditing and bank reconciliation
--- Filing and documentation for historical records
--- Follow up with Escrow Agents to ensure proper distribution of payments

Qualifications:
--- Recent graduate or in the process of completing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field (expected graduation date no later than 2023)
--- Completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of financial principles
--- Proficient with computers and financial management software
--- Effective written and verbal communication skills
--- Strong organization, time management, and ability to meet deadlines
--- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving and analytical skills
--- Team player, motivated to learn and take on new challenges
--- Pay: $17.50

This is a part-time role and will require 20-25 hours/week in our Newport Beach office.
