Orion is licensed nationwide and provides service to our clients from three Southern California locations.Responsibilities

• Manage the payables@orionrisk email and enter vouchers into EPIC Applied daily
• Scan, mail, and attach checks on a weekly basis
• Facilitate the Petty Cash Box and record the Journal Entry monthly
• Complete Direct Bill Commission reconciliations for P&C daily
• Contact Account Managers and Producers about commission rate discrepancies to ensure accuracy
• Complete Direct Bill commission reconciliation for Benefits of America weekly
• Locate, question, and streamline commission statements which reflect Direct Bill Commission daily
• Execute entering commission information into the Master Client List monthly
• Complete bank reconciliations for our smaller entities monthly
• Monitor our Direct Bill Commission account weekly to report externalities
• Investigate potential past due balances Orion has with select vendors
• Organize and file away ACH/Wire Disbursements weekly
• Manage Orion's front desk/receptionist in the morning for 2-3 hours each dayQualifications
  • 1-3 years of work experience in accounting.
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize.
  • Must be a self-starter and driven.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
