Job Description:
We are looking for a senior accountant for a fast paced,
profitable, growing company located in Irvine (by the airport).
This position reports to the Accounting Manager and has exposure to
upper management.
This is a position where you can use your skills to grow in your
career.
The job duties:
Take the lead of the month end close, under the supervisor of the
accounting manager Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, prepare
financial statements & management reports and prepare variance
analysis Maintain maintenance of the general ledger Oversee the
work of the staff accountant Prepare in depth analysis of sales and
cost variances Prepare ad hoc reports as needed from upper
management
The job requirements:
Degree in Accounting 4+ years' experience working in an accounting
environment Strong Excel skills Very strong knowledge of QuickBooks
(need to be able to extract data from QuickBooks and present it as
requested Be responsible for not only reporting the numbers, but
explaining them Ability to work in a fast paced environment
