This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join a growing and progressive firm.ABOUT YOU * 2 - 5 years of full time experience as a staff accountant.* Intermediate to advanced skills with Excel and Word.* Intermediate to advanced skills with Quickbooks and Quickbooks online.* Punctual, self-starter with drive and passion to carve out a great future.* Detail oriented and driven individual looking to add to their skill set.* Positive, outgoing personality that can work in a team environment and engage with clients, coworkers and outside parties.* Strong communication (written & verbal), organization and time management skills a must. * Professional with a mixed skill set that is eager to learn. Some training is available but you must be able to significantly contribute upon hire. * Experience with Lacerte a plus. JOB RESPONSIBILITES * Prepare and review (individual, fiduciary, partnership, S-Corporation and C-corporation) returns.* Monthly bank reconciliations.* Reconcile sub-ledgers to general ledger on a monthly basis.* Investigate and reconcile interco-receivables/payables and other general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.* Assist with month end financial statements package.* Record monthly recurring and non-recurring journal entries as needed.* Prepare and distribute year end 1099's.* Communication with regulatory agencies (IRS, FTB, etc.). * Assists with special assignments as needed.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS * Competitive salary (DOE).* Health - Dental - Vision Insurance.* Paid holidays, sick and vacation.TO APPLY * Submit resume in PDF format.Equal opportunity employer.
